Dr. Sandeep Lohani
Dr. Sandeep Lohani is a distinguished Academician, Hospitality Professional, and Visionary Leader dedicated to shaping the future of Hospitality and Tourism Education in India. With an impressive blend of Academic excellence, Industry acumen, and Entrepreneurial spirit, he has made remarkable contributions across diverse domains of the sector.
Holding a Ph.D. in Hospitality, along with dual Postgraduate degrees in Hotel Management and Tourism Management, Dr. Lohani has served at some of India’s most reputed institutions — including State Universities, Deemed Universities, & NCHMCT. His academic journey spans roles from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer, Head of Department, Vice Principal, and ultimately Principal. An Entrepreneur at heart, he has successfully operated a Multi-cuisine Restaurant and was also associated with a World Bank-funded project, reflecting his ability to bridge Academic theory with Real-world application.
Dr. Lohani is a multiple Limca Book of Records holder for extraordinary culinary achievements, including creating the longest vegetable sandwich and the highest number of varieties of besan chillas. Certified by Amul as a chef, he has conducted live cooking shows, workshops, and training sessions for prestigious organizations such as AWWA, CRPF, and PGI Chandigarh. He’s sought-after keynote speaker, resource person, and expert panelist, he regularly addresses national and international conferences, particularly on themes like entrepreneurship in hospitality. His insights have been featured on All India Radio, further amplifying his influence in the field.
In academia, He has played an instrumental role in curriculum design, board memberships, and examination panels. He has also served as an editor, seminar convener, and event coordinator, consistently contributing to the enrichment of academic standards and professional development. Passionate about mentoring future leaders, he seamlessly integrates industry experience with academic rigor, inspiring students to innovate, lead, and excel. Through his transformative leadership, he continues to elevate hospitality and tourism education in India, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and professionalism.

Mr. Alok Kumar Mishra
Mr. Alok Kumar Mishra is a distinguished alumnus of the School of Hotel Management at ITER Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He holds a 4-year BHMCT degree from the same institution, which is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, and AICTE, New Delhi. Mr. Mishra's academic qualifications further extend to two Master's Degrees: one in Tourism Management (MTM) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, and another in Hotel Management (MHM) from Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Haldwani, UK.
His commitment to enhancing his expertise is evident through several professional certifications. He completed the Certified Hospitality Trainer program from IHM Pusa, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and NCHMCT, Noida. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society of Training & Development (ISTD), New Delhi. Mr. Mishra also undertook training in Direct Training Skills (DTS) at NCHMCT, Noida, and earned his CLF certification from NCHMCT, Noida. With a rich professional experience of 17 years, Mr. Mishra has worked in various capacities within both the hospitality industry and education. His industry experience includes roles at Fun City, the leisure division of Landmark Retail Group in Dubai, Cambay Spa & Resort in Gandhinagar, and IHM Pusa, New Delhi.
Currently, he heads the Front Office Department at his institution while simultaneously taking on additional responsibilities, such as THIMS Coordinator, Examination Superintendent, Academic In charge, and Boys / Girl’s Hostel Warden, Hostel Mess In-charge etc. His multifaceted role showcases his leadership abilities and dedication to the growth of the institution and its students.

Chef Ishita Kirar
Ms. Ishita Kirar is a distinguished hospitality academician and culinary professional with over 18 years of rich experience in hospitality education, culinary training, and academic administration. She is currently serving as Lecturer-cum-Instructor and Food Production In-charge at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Faridabad. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she also discharges duties as State Public Information Officer (SPIO) and Institute Media Handler, contributing actively to institutional communication and transparency.
She has gained valuable industry exposure with prestigious hospitality organizations such as ITC Maurya, New Delhi, Nikko Metropolitan Hotel, and The Connaught, New Delhi, which has strengthened her practical understanding of professional kitchen operations and global hospitality standards.
With her extensive academic career, Ms. Kirar has served in teaching and training capacities across renowned institutes and universities, including: Rayat & Bahra University, Lovely Professional University, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Kufri, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, Active Institute of Hotel Management.
She is also a published author of four academic textbooks, contributing significantly to hospitality and school-level education: Textbook of Culinary and Bakery World – IK International Publishing House (2020), Hospitality and Tourism – VK Publications, A Textbook of Food Production – Class 10 (CBSE) (2024), A Textbook of Food Production – Class 9 (CBSE) (2024). With her 18 years of dedicated service, Chef Ishita Kirar continues to play a vital role in shaping future hospitality professionals through teaching excellence, academic writing, and institutional development.

Mr. Pardeep Kumar
Mr. Pardeep Kumar is a dedicated Lecturer-cum-Instructor with a three-year Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and over 12 years of combined teaching experience at prestigious institutes, including IHM Kurukshetra and IHM Faridabad. He has earlier served as a Teaching Associate at IHM Kurukshetra, contributing significantly to academic delivery and skill development.
At IHM Faridabad, he plays a key role in conducting Food Production practicals, coordinating Placement Activities, and implementing the Hunar Se Rozgar Tak (HSRT) Programmes. He has also successfully conducted skill training and certification programmes for employees of renowned hospitality brands such as DoubleTree by Hilton and The Lalit Mangar, under the HSRT initiative.
In addition to his academic and training responsibilities, Mr. Pardeep Kumar serves as a Hotel Expert and is an active core committee member for Hotel Site inspections of Hotels and Resorts, representing MOT, Government of India & contributing his professional expertise to quality assessment and industry alignment.

Mr. Vikas (currently on Deputation at IHM Rohtak) is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Kurukshetra, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lovely Professional University. He has a combined professional experience of 13 years encompassing both hospitality industry operations and academic teaching. His professional engagements include associations with Domino’s, Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak, and Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad. He is entrusted with the responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Department, where he contributes to curriculum delivery, practical training, and academic administration.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Yadav
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Yadav is an alumnus of IHM Ahmedabad and a certified hospitality trainer from IHM Gurdaspur. He brings with him over 15 years of rich teaching experience across Central and State Government institutions, including IHM Faridabad. At the institute, he serves as the Industrial Training Coordinator, effectively managing and coordinating industrial training for students across all academic disciplines, ensuring structured exposure and strong industry integration.

Ms. Aarti Tevatia
Ms. Aarti Tevatia is a seasoned hospitality professional and educator with a wealth of experience spanning over eight years in both industry and academia. A graduate of IHM Panipat, she further honed her expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Travel & Tourism from IGNOU. Her journey in the hospitality sector began with a dynamic tenure at The Oberoi, New Delhi, where she excelled in the Food & Beverage Department for two years, gaining hands-on experience in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Driven by her passion for education, she transitioned into academia, serving as an Assistant Lecturer at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group for three years. There, she played a pivotal role in shaping future hospitality professionals, specializing in food and beverage studies. She later continued her academic journey as an Assistant Lecturer at IHM Ranchi for 2.5 years, further contributing to the development of young minds in the hospitality domain.
Ms. Tevatia's expertise lies in blending practical industry insights with academic rigor, ensuring that her students receive a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. With her deep-rooted commitment to fostering excellence in hospitality education, she continues to inspire and mentor aspiring professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the ever-evolving industry.

Ms. Meenu Dua
Ms. Meenu is a highly accomplished hospitality professional and educator, boasting over five years of diverse experience across both the industry and academic realms. A proud alumna of IHM Gwalior, she further augmented her expertise with a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration from the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida.
Her career commenced with a dynamic 1.5 years tenure with Neemrana group of Hotels, where she excelled within the Front Office & Sales department, consistently delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to high-profile events. Driven by a passion for cultivating future hospitality leaders, she transitioned into academia, and started the journey with The Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa and worked there for almost three years. During this time, she specialized in Food Production & Bakery & Patisserie, developing innovative training modules that enhanced student practical skills.
Ms. Dua’s expertise is rooted in her ability to seamlessly integrate practical industry insights with rigorous academic instruction, ensuring her students receive a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. She is known for her emphasis on experiential learning and the incorporation of industry case studies into her curriculum. Many of her former students have successfully navigated into prominent roles within leading hospitality establishments, a testament to her effective teaching and mentorship. Currently she's working with the Institute as a Teaching Associate.

Mrs. Chhavi Garg
Mrs. Chhavi Garg is working with IHM Faridabad as a guest faculty with over 10 years of undergraduate teaching and research experience in the field of Accounts and Financial Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, along with M.Com. (NET qualified) and M.Ed. (NET qualified) degrees, and is also HTET and CTET qualified.
She is deeply committed to academic excellence, student mentoring, and outcome-based education. Her core academic interests include Financial Management, Accounts, research, and curriculum development, with a distinctive inclination towards integrating spirituality and meditation into education for holistic learning.
Mrs. Garg has published research papers in reputed national and international journals, including UGC Care-I and Scopus-indexed journals, and has presented papers at several seminars, conferences, and workshops. She is actively involved in interdisciplinary research projects related to Commerce and Spirituality.
Beyond academics, she actively disseminates knowledge through digital platforms, particularly YouTube, is a regular blood donor, an active social worker, and a committed member of Rotary Club Prerna, Faridabad.

Ms. Tajinder Kaur
Ms. Tajinder Kaur is a distinguished alumna of the Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad, where she completed her B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration with a strong academic record. She holds a Master’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education (MAEDU) along with a globally recognized Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). She has also successfully completed a certification in Human Resource Management, further broadening her professional competencies.
With more than three years of comprehensive professional and training experience in the hospitality and corporate sectors, she has developed strong expertise in guest relations, event management, sales, and operations. She completed her industrial training at JW Marriott, New Delhi Aerocity, and gaining valuable exposure to multiple operational departments. Combining her solid academic background with practical industry knowledge, she is dedicated to effectively teaching and inspiring students at IHM Faridabad.

Mr. Aditya Dev Dadhwal is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Kurukshetra, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. He holds a Master’s degree from the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Hospitality from Lovely Professional University, Punjab, with a strong focus on research and academic advancement in the hospitality domain.
He possesses sound research expertise complemented by industry exposure gained through industrial training and professional experience in hotels. He has also acquired practical IT and administrative exposure with the Human Resource Department of IRCTC, offering valuable insights into both corporate and public-sector hospitality operations.
